Register for the Fast Pass Programme* and get the New Guardian™ 4 Transmitter!

We’re excited to announce that the new Guardian™ 4 System which requires no fingersticks** has obtained CE Mark and will soon be available with the MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump system. The system consists of the MiniMed 780G insulin pump, Guardian™ 4 Sensor and Guardian™ 4 Transmitter.

The Fast Pass programme allows users of MiniMed™ 780G system who purchased the system from 1 July 2021 to register to receive the Guardian™ 4 Transmitter later this year, in the spring time, upon commercial launch at no extra cost.

By clicking yes, you will receive an email once the system is launched so you can place your order. Once you receive your new transmitter, you will also need to follow up with your medical aid to ensure you are authorised to order the new Guardian™ 4 sensor. Please also get a script from your doctor and contact your pharmacy to switch your ongoing supply.

*Fast Pass is only offered for a limited time for patients purchasing the MiniMed™ 780G system from 1 July 2021 until the product is commercially available (launched) later this year, spring time. Patients who purchased the MiniMed™ 780G system outside this date range are not eligible for this programme. Upon registration, you will receive a Guardian™ 4 Transmitter as a replacement and hence the warranty will be a continuation of the Guardian™ Link 3 warranty.
**A BG needed when you first enter SmartGuard™ feature. If glucose alerts and CGM readings do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions. Refer to System User Guide - SmartGuard™ feature. Some user interaction required.

  • Providing on-demand product support services via our helpline, email and chat services
  • Contacting me for feedback on my satisfaction with product support and my satisfaction about the products I already use
  • Sending me educational information, tips & tricks about the diabetes therapy and about the products I already use.
  • I have registered to the Start RightSM program allowing Medtronic to proactively reach out to me via phone, email or a digital platform with educational and lifestyle content.
